Airways Aviation Academy and Jen Sheng General Aviation signed a Letter of Intention
Airways Aviation Academy and Jen Sheng General Aviation signed a Letter of Intention (LOI) to cooperate on various aviation projects, mainly focusing on pilot training for Chinese students. The student pilots, after conducting some basic ab-initio training in China, will be sent to Europe to obtain their fATPL qualification under the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). This cooperation will develop and promote areas of mutual interest between AAA and JSGA.
The LOI was signed in May 2018 by Airways Aviation Academy’s Regional Manager- China Mr. Amer Sayed and Mr. Zhu Shouchen, Chairman of Jen Sheng General Aviation, at Beijing.
Commenting on the signing of the LOI, Mr. Sayed, AAA Regional Manager- China, said: “Civil aviation in China is in urgent need of a large number of professional pilots due to the rapid development of both the domestic and international aviation industry, hence, signing a cooperation agreement with Jin Sheng General Aviation, is a very important step for the future development and success in this unique market.”
In addition, Mr. Shouchen, President of Jianxin Group Hebei, and Chairman of Jin Sheng General Aviation, said: “signing a cooperation agreement with Airways Aviation in Europe, will in no doubt have a great benefits for our students going abroad to learn and obtain their professional licenses under the EASA program, we look forward for a long and fruitful relationship between our two academies.”
Airways Aviation is a global leader in flight training, with Pilot Training Academies and Aviation Foundation Schools in key locations across Europe, the Middle East and Australia. The academy maintains a fleet of “state of the art” aircraft at its bases around the world, such as Diamond DA40, DA42, Cessna 172, Piper PA-28 and Beech 76 Duchess.
Jen Sheng General Aviation is one of the first General Aviation academies to be opened in China in 2010 at Xi’an, the capital city of Shaanxi Province in central China. The academy currently have 200 PPL students, 13 DA40, 3 DA42 and two flight simulators. The company is also in the process of building another GA flying School In Cangzhou, Hebei Province.
