The Arab Aviation Summit on February 18, 2025, featured a highly engaging panel discussion titled "Empowering the Future of Aviation: Outlook, Strategies, and Challenges in Training and Workforce Development." The panel brought together key industry leaders and experts to discuss the evolving landscape of aviation training and the growing demand for a highly skilled workforce.
One of the most compelling contributions came from Captain Wissam Mehyou, CEO of Intercontinental Aviation Enterprise (IAE), who emphasized the critical role of education and awareness in shaping the future of aviation. He highlighted IAE’s commitment to providing end-to-end solutions for individuals passionate about entering the aviation sector.
Captain Mehyou made a significant announcement regarding IAA’s new partnership with Alfaisal University in Riyadh, KSA. This initiative will offer ground school training in Riyadh, ensuring that students receive world-class theoretical education before transitioning to IAE’s flying bases. He described this partnership as a stepping stone for IAE’s expansion in the KSA market, aligning with the country’s ambitious aviation growth plans.
Further solidifying IAE’s presence in the region, Captain Mehyou announced the launch of two additional training bases in strategic locations, alongside the ongoing development of IAE’s UAE base. These expansions demonstrate IAE’s proactive approach to meeting the increasing demand for high-quality aviation training as the industry evolves.
