Airways Aviation have purchased an additional four Cessna 172 aircraft to meet an increased demand for pilot training.

As a global flight training provider with bases in the UK, Spain, Montenegro and Australia, Airways Aviation has over 30 years of pilot training experience. Proudly, the company continues to meet industry needs providing a range of Diploma, Graduate Diploma and Degree level qualifications in conjunction with leading Australian Universities. Courses include the Bachelor of Business (Aviation Management) in conjunction with Southern Cross University (SCU), the Bachelor of Aviation (Flight Operations) with Central Queensland University (CQU) and the Diploma of Aviation with Airways Aviation.

All four aircraft have Garmin G3x glass cockpits with dual ten-inch touch displays. The touchscreen offers an intuitive user interface and through any combination of the touchscreen or dual-concentric knobs, pilots can efficiently perform common in-flight functions like direct-to navigation, setting altitude pre-select or radio tuning.

Airways Aviation Operations Manager, Travis Culverwell commented saying;

These four additional aircraft will compliment Airways Aviation’s current fleet of Cessna 172’s, 182 and DA42 and will ensure the training outcomes are achieved in modern high-quality aircraft, for our partners Alpha Aviation, Southern Cross University, Central Queensland University and our own AAE Diploma of Aviation Students.
