Airways Aviation has announced the launch of its flagship integrated ATPL course, Elite Pathways Programme (EPP). The Airways Aviation EPP is a fully integrated ATPL package offering students EASA approved training with a focus on student experience and industry-readiness.
Airways Aviation is a world leader in flight training, with Pilot Training Academies and Aviation Foundation Schools in key locations across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
Working closely with industry partners and aviation experts, Airways Aviation has purposefully designed and developed its EPP to provide a student-centric approach to training that offers additional skills, experience and opportunities beyond the standard ATPL course.
This means that while the EPP offers the key attributes of a fully integrated ATPL these are packaged with additional airline preparation experience and advanced flight training – including upset recovery, multi pilot and jet training.
Ian Cooper, Airways Aviation General Manager and Head of Training in the UK, has over 10 years experience in delivering modular, integrated and MPL programmes and has experienced first-hand in the strengths and challenges of standard training packages and methodologies. Mr Cooper said ‘The development of tailored programmes that meet the varying needs of airlines around the world is critical for the future growth of this industry. At Airways Aviation we believe we have a responsibility to ensure our graduates experience a training programme that is thorough and challenging, where safety always comes first, and the attainment of high-level, industry recognised (and required) skills is paramount.’
In addition to the launch of its EPP, Airways Aviation has also recently opened a fair-weather flying base in Huesca, Spain. Aside from the idyllic location, the base offers students a unique opportunity to undertake European (EASA) accredited training in European airspace.
Airways Aviation Commercial Manager in the UK, Naveed Kapadia, said ‘this is a fantastic time to undertake pilot training – airlines are beginning to ramp up their recruitment of new pilots to meet future demand and at Airways Aviation we believe we are well placed to play a pivotal role in the training of those pilots globally’.
