Wrapping Up Q1 2025: A Quarter of Growth, Grit, and Global Expansion

As we close the first quarter of 2025, I can confidently say that we are moving in full throttle toward our goals. Across our group, remarkable achievements have been made, and I am incredibly proud of both the IAE and IAA teams for the outstanding performance, dedication, and ambition they continue to demonstrate.

The year started with strong momentum. In Cyprus, we solidified the foundation of our operations by strengthening our strategic partnership with Cyprus Airways and its subsidiary, Cyprus Airways Flying Academy (CAFA). Our Cypriot base is near full capacity for the year, reflecting the increased trust in our training model and growth potential. Exciting expansion plans are already lined up for Q2—so stay tuned.

In Lebanon, with the war finally behind us, hope and opportunity have returned. IAA Lebanon is flying again—literally. Flight training has resumed, our operations have been reorganized, and our outlook for the country is more promising than ever. Student enrollment is growing steadily, and major announcements are on the way, including a new university partnership and significant fleet and operational expansion.

Turning to the UAE, we proudly launched IAA UAE in partnership with Hadid Group. Headquartered in Ras Al Khaimah, we’ve secured a new 3,800 sqm facility at the international airport, complemented by a management and administrative office in Dubai. The operations are already taking shape with a solid team in place, and we’re on track to start courses in September 2025.

Our fourth base in Greece is now officially in motion. Operational plans have been finalized, and we will soon unveil all details regarding location, fleet, and capacity. IAA Greece is part of our vision to bridge Eastern Europe with our broader network and offer top-tier aviation training across the Mediterranean.

Beyond our flight bases, the first quarter also marked the official rollout of our University Ground School model. We signed a landmark agreement with Al Faisal University in Saudi Arabia—marking the birth of IAA KSA—with much more to follow in the near term. Alongside this, we launched our ground school base in Iraq, operated by our global team and reflecting our commitment to deliver world-class training across borders.

More university partnerships and ground school bases are lined up for 2025, solidifying our belief that accessibility and reach are key to aviation education.

At the governance level, our Board of Directors has grown stronger than ever. Several high-profile figures from the aviation sector have joined our visionary board, bringing with them decades of experience and strategic insight. Their identities will be revealed during the course of the Month.

Finally, Q1 concluded with a critical strategic decision—the beginning of our new fleet acquisition program. The board has approved an initial order of 21 aircraft to be delivered between 2025 and 2026, setting the foundation for our next era of capacity and excellence.

Looking ahead, we are preparing to unveil IAEvision2030 for training, our long-term roadmap for transforming aviation training worldwide. It will include detailed plans for future bases, our fleet roadmap, digital integration, and expansion into new markets.

At IAE and IAA, we are on a mission to provide the best possible training—equipped with modern fleets, advanced technology, airline-integrated programs, and an unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and student success. Backed by multiple airline partners and accredited globally, our programs are tailored to meet the highest standards of excellence.

This is only the beginning.
